Established as Vamaa Dairy Private Limited at Tumgaon, Mahasamund District of Chhattisgarh, and formally launching its operations in 2018, Gaia is proud of the wholesome, nutritious products it manufactures and sells, and the vital role these products play in creating healthy lifestyles.
The idea for a revolutionary dairy firm based on traditional practices came back in 2008, during an amusement trip of the founders to Israel. After 9 years of research and trying different things, some being ahead of the curve and some reaching not even close to the curve, the plant was finally set up in 2017 with the tag “DoodhTaaza, Shakti Zyada”. Since then, the company is achieving continuous milestones to bring the best practices in a dairy culture. The company is licensed by FSSAI and EGAC and IAF accredited
It came up with a philosophy of doing things right and making them last a long time. The company aims to make environmental and social sustainability a way of doing business and exhibits it is not only company priorities, but core values. The agenda of hiring local rural farmers in the process is one such example!
For the production milk for all their products is collected from small farmers of the nearby villages and is then brought to their state-of-the-art plant for controlled processing and packaging. A part of their earnings is generously invested in the well-being of the farmers with the resources and tools they need to keep in order to provide customers’ favorite premium dairy products.
