After being called the Grand Marshal of India at the Annual Day parade in New York, owning one of the biggest achievements for India to getting accolades from the global audience for ‘Pushpa’, Allu Arjun is unstoppable.

The actor was bestowed with the honour of Indian of The Year by a leading media house. His fans and the audience are overjoyed by his achievement and celebrating to the fullest.

Called newly an Icon Star, Allu Arjun received the Indian of the year award and became the first south Indian actor to do so. Hosted by CNN News18, the award was given by Honourable Minister Smriti Irani. Dedicating his award to covid warriors, the actor, who brought people back to theatres with Pushpa, called it a win for the Indian Cinema.

Taking to social media, Allu Arjun shared a heartfelt note on his victory that read: “I would like to thank @cnnnews18 for honouring me as Indian of the year. And I thank Smritiiraniji for doing the honours. Humbled #IndianOfTheYear @smritiiraniofficial”
