Change maker Shri. Akhil Jain Ji – A LIFE DEVOTED TO COWS

Coming from a joint family and siblings, Shri. Akhil Jain Ji (Padam Dakaliya) grew up watching his parents serving selflessly to humanity. This inculcated the same sensitive instinct toward the suffering of living beings in him. Since the age of immaturity, he realized his path to happiness lies in helping people. Somehow, he did have a special corner for cows. “Though as a part of tradition my family offered the first meal to cows every day, I furtively used to give entire chapatis to the cows. My family started keeping them out of my reach for that reason.”

Slowly, his sensitiveness increased with age. The need for their food, facilities and shelter started concerning him a lot. He spent all his pocket money on needy people and animal welfare. Eventually, the realization the need for larger funds to serve his cause. “I saved all my money to serve my cause. I was tagged as the most miser one among my friends. I never spent a single penny even on Paani puris, and hailing from a Jain family helped me justify my stepping back from eating out as well!”, he said.

Around January 1999, Shri. Akhil Jain Ji (Padam Dakaliya) was able to save one lakh. It was also the time he lost his beloved mother. He had a life-changing experience where he saw a lady in a critical health situation losing her life due to the lack of an ambulance facility in Khairagarh. With the help of his savings and the cumulative effort of the Lions club organization and donations from good Samaritans in public, he was able to arrange the first ambulance in Khairagarh within 7 days that saved hundreds of lives in the city.

Blessings received as a result of his noble works helped him to shift to Raipur without a single penny from the ancestral property and establish a business from scratch in the year 2000. After initial 8 years of business, he realized that he was losing a track of his aim in life. It was another turning point for him. In 2011, he established a committee for Gaushala, taking a major step towards his ultimate goal in life. Embarking a new journey, On 13th August 2012, the trust and land for Gaushala were legally registered. On 14th January 2015, Manohar Gaushala was established with 9 cows in presence of Jain Saints. Since then, Manohar Gaushala never turned back to date.

the cows can roam and live freely.” Working towards this dream, the management has planted 3000 trees in the Gaushala and has created a pond inside for the cows to drink water. It has medicinal plants, grasslands, shades, and shelters that will help the cows to live healthily and comfortably. A systematic hospital for cows is also under the plan.

Another incredible job at the Gaushala is the research to cure cow blindness using cornea transplantation. Shri. Akhil Jain (Padam Dakaliya) believes that he will succeed in this mission to save cows from vision impairment soon.

The organization is focused on developing medicines from cow dung and cow urine.

Also, Manohar Gaushala has a Kaam dhenu Cow. This cow is one of the rarest breeds which has not been found in the history of 500 years of research.

Shri. Akhil Jain (Padam Dakaliya) appeals to the public to visit Manohar Gaushala to see this rare cow. This is the only one in the world, as there is no clue when will this cow be next visible on earth.

A Cow Is a Boon

Cows are the humblest creature. It is a natural factory that gives dairy products worth thousands in worth consuming fodder amounting to merely a rupee. Creating such factories artificially may cost huge investments. It is an abode to 33 Crore deities according to ancient ideologies. Cows are making numerous unrecognized efforts to save the earth and mankind. Surprisingly, researchers say that cows are contributing to global warming as well!

Unfortunately, the awareness of the contribution of a cow is limited majorly to milk and dairy products. If the existing horizon of knowledge is expanded based on facts and research, cow dung and cow urine are the ultimate blessings in disguise for mankind.

Milk giving capacity is limited to a certain age of a cow, however, urine and cow dung can be utilized from birth till the cow’s last breath. Manohar Gaushala is working aggressively to utilize every drop of cow urine for beneficial causes.

“Cows are a blessing. On the day when India attained Message by freedom when the value of dollar and Akhil Jain rupees were almost the same, cows, and
(Padam Dakaliya) humans were in equal proportion in India. Today, the human population increased exponentially while the population of cows decreased drastically. My message to the public is to protect and promote Indian native cows. To make the best utilization of cow dung and cow urine and for this, every individual must come upfront and decrease the dependency on the government to initiate plans.”

“One cow is sufficient to sustain the life of one farmer. Shri. Akhil Jain (Padam Dakaliya) says that if every farmer keeps a cow at his home, no cows will be slaughtered neither there will be a need to build Gaushalas.

Achievements

“The biggest achievement for me is the love and blessings! received since the inception of this noble work” Shri. Akhil Jain Ji (Padam Dakaliya) says.

Within 7 years, with immense support of people and blessings or well-wishers, the organization received national as well as international recognition and awards.

The fertilizers developed from Gomutra (Cow urine) inspired national as well as international researchers to work on it. Baffled by the goodness of this fertilizer, scientists around the globe visited the Gaushala and are still conducting their research work here.

“We adopted an ancient 3000-year-old technique to produce Comutra ark (Cow urine) of which almost 12,000 bottles we have distributed free of cost. Presently, the same ark is being consumed by the Honourable Prime Minister of India. Honorable Rajyapal of Chhattisgarh is the pioneer in supplying it to the dignity. We have also received appreciation from the Honorable Prime Minister of India for the Vedic Vaastu Ganesh made up of cow dung at our Gaushala.”

In 2018, Gaushala registered the patent for liquid fertilizer till 2027. The work is still under research. The head of the Canada Research Centre recently approached the organization about an uncurable fungus on the mango plant. The treatments are still on and Shri. Akhil Jain (Padam Dakaliya) firmly believes that the next crop of mango will be healthy and completely cured by the fertilizers supplied from the Gaushala. This will be another big achievement for them.

“We haven’t sold a single product manufactured at our Gaushala neither we have earned a single penny from this organization. We are working for a noble cause which is beyond the monetary profits”, he added. The organization is making remarkable achievements in saving two trees every day by supplying logs made of cow dung for burning to farmers and villagers.

The Gaushala started with mere 18,000 square feet of land. At present, it has spread across 11 acres of land plus 10 acres of rented land. The
organization aims to build a self-dependent Gaushala spread across 100 acres, and 25 acres of dense forest where thousands of cows can stay. “It is our dream to build a natural Gaushala that resembles one of Dvapara Yuga of Shri. Krishna.
